NCIF Welcomes 2 New Team Members

Wendy Miner has joined the Natural Capital Investment Fund in its Shepherdstown office as Loan Fund Administrator. Wendy comes to NCIF from Middletown Valley Bank with 5 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience. She currently attends Shepherd University, where she is working towards a BA in Accounting. As Loan Fund Administrator, Wendy will be responsible for bookkeeping, managing NCIF's loan servicing, and database management. Welcome Wendy!

Ella Wise joined The Conservation Fund’s Chapel Hill office in January 2010 as an intern with TCF’s new microcredit program for forest-friendly businesses: The Shade Fund. Since graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, she has headed up the annual survey of NCIF’s portfolio companies and the development of NCIF’s first-ever environmental, social and economic impacts report (coming soon!). In September, Ella will start an Americorps position in Asheville with the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy. We look forward to working with her in this new capacity!
