NCIF Partners with CEI to Benefit Rural Communities through $125 Million NMTC Program
This fall the U.S. Treasury allocated $125 million to Coastal Enterprises Inc. (CEI) as part of the federal New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) Program. In partnership with CEI, the Natural Capital Investment Fund will deploy funding in rural communities across its market area - West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. |

NCIF portfolio company Carolina Wood Pellets has begun production of wood pellets at its Franklin, NC facility.
