Over the past year, NCIF has benefited from the work of a talented group of interns.
Napoleon Wallace, a UNC Kenan Flagler 2010 MBA candidate, created a comprehensive risk profile analysis tool for NCIF that will help us assess our overall portfolio risk and new investments.
Elli Stephanede headed up NCIF’s involvement in a joint effort with RAFI-USA, Chatham County Cooperative Extension agent Dan Campeau, and several former Pilgrim’s Pride growers to test the market for locally produced, low density, naturally fed and humanely slaughtered chicken in the Triangle and Triad.
Shawn Handy, a Wake Forest School of Law recent graduate is working with NCIF thanks to the Launching Legal Practice Fellowship, focusing on outreach and further development of NCIF’s grain bin project.
We thank all these talented folks for extending and enriching our NCIF team.
